BWV249 Easter Oratorio

BWV249 Easter Oratorio

The work was originally written Easter Sunday in Leipzig on 1 April 1725.

Unlike the "Passions," it is short, and runs to about forty minutes performing time, with just barely five minutes of it being sung by the choir. There is no Evangelist, and the first two sections are instrumental.

Note Perfect provides all movements for choir and soloist. Please review our sample recordings below and make your selection according to your requirement.
